After 33 years in the art of karate Professor Peter Georgiou was elevated to the rank of hachi dan, eight degree black belt, by the Great Grand Master Aaron Banks, tenth degree black belt. Master Banks also bestowed the title of Grand Master (or Shihan) upon Professor Georgiou, a title that is reserved only to those that have dedicated their lives to the art.
