Professor Georgiou believes that we all have a responsibility to help, whenever we can, our fellow human beings. Especially those of us that have succeeded in securing a comfortable living in our society. This is an indiscriminate responsibility inherent in living in any society. As a result, the Human Development Center (HDC) will provide to needy individuals that meet the below stated criteria a helping hand in times of need.

1. The HDC will award each month to a needy individual or family 1 $100–500 or the equivalent value in needed item(s). All applications received in the particular month will be considered for that particular month.
     
2. To qualify:
   
   1. Submission of a written application to the HDC (no phone calls please):

      Malden, MA 02148-6904
        
   2. A one (1) page written (print please) or typed letter (that can act as an application) giving the reason(s) why the applicant needs the money or item(s), the amount of money needed ($100 – 500) and the reason the applicant believes that his or her need for the money or item(s) exceed the need of other applicants.
        
   3. The letter must be signed, addressed, and an evening home telephone number must be given.
        
   4. One (1) self addressed and stamped envelope must be submitted with the letter.
        

(1) All donations provided herein are given at the sole discretion of the HDC and Professor Georgiou. Any and all terms, conditions, criteria and definitions herein can change without advanced notice. By submitting an application the applicant agrees to all herein criteria and conditions. Fraudulent applications will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
