Professor Georgiou created Mae Geri to encourage the use of the front kick as
a primary counter attack technique. This is a beginner's kata. The kata,
although basic in technique, personifies Professor Georgiou's philosophy of
self defense: «...all you'll ever need to defend
yourself is the front punch and the front kick.»

Break out to the L at 90 degree in L Sanchin w/L mid-block;

R Front Kick, move into R Zenkutsu w/R mid-punch;

Move back into horse stance executing a L lower punch;

Move up 180 degrees into R Sanchin w/R mid-block;

L Front kick, move into L Zenkutsu w/L mid-punch;

Repeat # 3 in reverse;

Turn at 90 degrees to the L into Sanchin w/L mid-block;

R Front Kick move into R Zenkutsu w/R mid-punch;

L Front Kick move into L Zenkutsu w/L mid-punch;

R Front kick move into R Zenkutsu w/R mid-punch;

Mowate w/R foot 180 degrees w/R reverse strike, into L Zenkutsu w/L punch;
